Visa information

If you are a citizen of an EU member state, a valid travel document or a document confirming identity and citizenship (i.e. your national ID, passport) is required to arrive to Poland.

Usually non-EU citizens require the visa to enter Poland. You can check whether you need the visa here: http://www.msz.gov.pl/en/travel_to_poland/entering_poland/visa_free/visa_free_countries.

If you are a non-EU citizen, two main documents are required to cross the Polish border:
  • a valid travel document (passport);
  • a visa (if required).

Poland is a part of the Schengen zone, so you can apply for the Polish visa and travel documents in most countries in Europe (excluding the United Kingdom, Ireland, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia and non-EU states) or Polish embassies around the world.

The instructions how to get a visa in 5 easy steps: http://www.go-poland.pl/visa-application or using e-consulary https://secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl/. The Organisers will provide the invitation letter, when necessary.

Note that the process of obtaining a visa can take weeks!
